We’re looking for a Mobile App Developer to take ownership of developing, scaling, and maintaining the Fluency mobile app across iOS, Android, and Web platforms. You’ll work alongside a small, fast-moving team where everyone steps outside their lane to craft beautiful, responsive, and trend-aware experiences that resonate with influencers and their audiences.

• Lead the development of Fluency’s cross-platform mobile app using Capacitor, ensuring performance, reliability, and seamless user experience across iOS, Android, and Web.
• Implement real-time features using RESTful APIs and Websockets to support creator activity, tracking, and payments.
• Collaborate with full-stack developers through code review and agile principles.
• Manage app deployments, including staging, production, and updates to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Design and implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Contribute to mobile UX strategy, focusing on intuitive navigation, responsive interfaces, and industry-specific interactions like swiping and screen stacking.
• Work closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to build and evolve core Fluency features.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and platform-specific challenges.

• 3+ years of experience in mobile app development with a strong grasp of:
  • REST APIs and Websockets
  • Typescript
  • Ionic/Capacitor
  • React Context API, React Router 5.x for state management and navigation
  • Publishing apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play
  • CI/CD practices for staging and production workflows
  • Mobile app UX best practices and interaction patterns
• Demonstrated ability to own a mobile codebase and ship features in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Familiarity with live video/streaming tools like RTMP or Mux.
• Background in SaaS startups or high-growth digital products.
• Knowledge of the creator economy, fashion, or affiliate marketing.
