We are currently seeking a Learning Support Officer (Assessor) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a critical part in guiding and supporting students through their learning journey by delivering timely, constructive feedback and ensuring assessments meet industry and training standards. โ€‹ Key Responsibilities
  • Review and mark student assessments promptly and accurately in line with marking guides and competency standards.

  • Provide clear, supportive, and constructive feedback to learners to enhance their understanding and performance.

  • Maintain accurate records of assessment outcomes and student progress.

  • Ensure compliance with training package requirements and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with trainers and other support officers to promote a high-quality learning experience.

  • Identify and support learners who may need additional guidance to achieve competency.



Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or higher.
  • Diploma (or higher qualification) in one or more of the following: Community Services, Youth Work, Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs
  • Strong literacy skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in assessing vocational education and training (VET) assessments.
  • Excellent written communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment.
  • Experience in online learning environments or with learning management systems.
  • Prior experience supporting diverse learner groups.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements under ASQA and other relevant bodies.
