Nature and Scope of Job

We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Project Manager with hands-on experience in NetSuite ERP implementations, particularly within the life sciences industry. The successful candidate will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of critical NetSuite ERP projects, ensuring that all milestones are met, project risks are mitigated, and objectives are achieved in alignment with company goals. As the Project Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, finance, and business stakeholders, to implement NetSuite solutions that streamline operations, improve efficiency, and support business growth in the life sciences domain.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage all phases of NetSuite ERP implementation projects, including scope definition, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, set expectations, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business units to define functional requirements and translate them into actionable project plans, ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance standards in the life sciences industry.
  • Risk Management: Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Project Scheduling and Budgeting: Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and track progress against milestones. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with NetSuite consultants, third-party vendors, and implementation partners to ensure smooth integration and successful deployment.
  • Change Management: Assist in the development of change management strategies, user training, and documentation to ensure a seamless transition to the new ERP system.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide insights into process improvements and best practices for optimizing the ERP system and business workflows in line with the evolving needs of the business.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that all project documentation meets the life sciences industry's regulatory requirements, including FDA, GxP, and other relevant guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on NetSuite ERP implementations.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading NetSuite ERP projects in life sciences or related industries (pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices).
  • Experience with other ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) in the life sciences industry.
  • Familiarity with life sciences industry standards and regulatory requirements (FDA, GMP, ISO, etc.).
  • Experience in process optimization, data migration, and system integration.
  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, or similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based ERP solutions and modern project management tools.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification preferred.
  • NetSuite ERP certification or training is a plus.

Compensation

Salary/Hourly Rate Range (W2): USD 78.00 - 98.00

The base salary/hourly rate range represents the anticipated low and high end of the USDM’s compensation range for this position. Actual salaries/hourly rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. The compensation described above is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described based on market survey data or budget.

Full-time employees are eligible for health, vision, and dental insurance, life insurance, short and long-term disability, hospital indemnity, accident, and critical care coverage.

Both full and part-time employees, who are at least 21 years of age, are eligible to participate in USDM's 401k plan. Full and part-time employees may be eligible for paid time off.
