Why This Role is Exciting

We seek intelligent, coachable, hard-working, and driven professionals to help guide and shape our World Class Partner Organization. In this role, the Senior Alliances Manager will be assigned to one of AuditBoard’s newest and most strategic partners.  You will be tasked with the design and execution of strategic and joint business plans helping drive AuditBoard revenue and product adoption across all segments. This includes oversight of co-selling initiatives, co-marketing, partner-led solutions, and co-support models where applicable.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Align AuditBoard’s strength and growth plans with partners to develop comprehensive business plans that mutually benefit all parties.

  • Own the entire Alliance relationship and maintain relationships with the most senior levels of the assigned partner (s).

  • Collaborate with our Partner Sales team to achieve assigned partner(s) revenue goals, partner-led introductions to buyers, and using partner influence to help drive services revenue for partners while aiding AuditBoard sales close software deals. 

  • Drive the effort to meaningful evangelism with our Alliance SEs to ensure the AuditBoard message and partnership value remains top of mind with your partner’s customer facing consulting and audit teams

  • Align with the AuditBoard Partner Marketing team to drive thought-leadership events with your partner and assist in ideation of market-with collaborations.

  • Coach partners on the value of developing differentiated solution offerings and annuity services plays that combine their IP and our AuditBoard’s world-class connected risk platform.

  • Be a master communicator internally at AuditBoard realizing that our sales organization is your largest customer

Attributes for a Successful Candidate

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of combined experience at one of the Big 4 Accounting Firms OR having led a technology alliance relationship with a Big 4 firm. 

  • AuditBoard is in alliance “build mode” so the ideal candidate will be flexible and have a strong desire to collaborate with peers and leadership

  • Excellent communication skills and EQ are an absolute must

  • Strong networking, business development, and influencing skills that translate into building commitment and driving actions across organizational boundaries. This role is not suited for scorekeepers. 

  • The successful candidate brings 2 ideas for every problem they identify

  • Effective in a matrix environment, comfortable with environments lacking full definition, and willing to take calculated risks
