Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious Senior AI/ML Software Engineer to join our remote team in Spain focused on adopting cutting-edge techniques into production processes and helping Voovio scale. As an AI/ML Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions from prototype to production.

This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in Spain. You’ll join a global team, working on cutting-edge technologies while enjoying the flexibility and autonomy of a fully remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and operationalize ML solutions in cloud environment.
• Optimize model performance to meet SLAs.
• Drive the adoption of cloud technologies and MLOps practices within the AI team, optimizing deployment and scalability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and other teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Mentor and help to grow our team of ML engineers, fostering innovation and technical excellence.

Required Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, AI, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience with AI projects.
• Proficiency in Python and clean-code programming, with experience in other languages like JavaScript or C++.
• Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.).
• Experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex, ambiguous projects.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• English B2.
• Resident in Spain.
