What you’ll be working on
Provide business and system expertise along with research/analysis services that support the design, delivery and maintenance of quality applications and enhancements
Demonstrates strong subject matter expertise on projects and business unit initiatives, to ensure full end-to-end deployment of system updates
Support the implementation, documentation and communication of system/process changes to management, end-users, third party service providers, etc.Gather requirements and apply an appropriate mix of approaches: interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
Assess current state of processes by shadowing in the business unit, reviewing procedures, interviewing subject matter experts and mapping current state processes
Collect and analyze data (KPIs/SLAs) from multiple sources to support analysis of current state processes and potential impact of proposed process improvements
3+ years relevant work experience
Advanced Knowledge of MSOffice Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access; knowledge of SQL
Knowledge of the Insurance business: processes, systems, data sources, customers, products, channels, regulations, competition, industry trends is an asset
Completion of a university degree, in business or engineering or a related discipline
Well-developed analytical, evaluation, decision making and problem resolution skills
Ability to work independently and/or as a team member
Well-developed communication, negotiation, persuasion and facilitation skills
Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks or projects
Statistical analysis skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
