Meal Ticket is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer with a robust background in information security. In this role, you will enforce security policies, respond to RFPs, and drive comprehensive security initiatives—including managing access controls and authentication org wide, securing endpoints and owning the policies, coordinating disaster recovery and incident response, and promoting secure development practices—to safeguard the organization’s assets.

What you will do -

Design and implement secure infrastructure using AWS and Azure cloud services.
Manage endpoint protection and threat detection using ESET.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for consistent and repeatable deployments.
Secure CI/CD pipelines and deployments using ArgoCD.
Administer and enforce security policies using JumpCloud.
Ensure Kubernetes clusters are configured and maintained following best security practices.
Perform risk assessments, vulnerability scanning, and remediation strategies.
Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and engineering teams to embed security across the SDLC.
Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in a timely and effective manner.
Push and lead our secure development sessions.
Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and compliance requirements.

What you will bring -

Proven experience in cybersecurity roles with a focus on cloud-native environments.

Hands-on experience with:

Cloud Platforms: AWS and Azure
EDR/XDR Tools: Eset endpoint security or any of SentinelOne, CrowdStrike
IaC Tools: Terraform, Ansible
DevOps Tools: ArgoCD, Github Actions
Identity Management / MDM: JumpCloud
Container Orchestration: Kubernetes
Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks, identity and access management, and network security.
Experience with compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, etc.).
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AWS Security Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, etc.
Knowledge of OWASP top 10 concepts
Experience integrating security into DevSecOps pipelines.
Familiarity with SIEM platforms and threat intelligence tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
