Job Overview:
The Assistant Vice President, Business Strategy & Growth will be part of an innovative entrepreneurial, high-performing team that is driving the development, management and execution of LPL’s new and existing advisor business lines and our institutional partnerships within the Business Development organization. The role will work closely with our strategic Business Model Owners, Product & Platform Strategy teams, CARE (operations and services), Legal/Risk teams, Technology teams, and other cross-company departments as well as external partners. The individual will play a critical role in enabling our advisors and institutions to forever partner, operate, engage, grow, and thrive in a manner that is superior to alternative platforms.
Responsibilities:
Drive the execution of strategic transformation initiatives through the establishment and ongoing ownership of processes that ensure manual components are understood and achieved across cross functional teams
Gather and document the defined configuration components driving personalized experiences across platforms and their relationships within a system(s)
Analyze requirements by gathering information from IT and relevant product teams confirming the configuration meets requirements for compliance, accuracy, and consistency
Plan and execute assigned configuration tasks within deadlines while establishing baseline reference points for manual configurations to track changes over time ensuring change process includes proper approvals and minimizes disruptions
Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and client experience improvements, raising issues to the proper levels for attention and driving transparency at all levels surrounding program execution

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or additional equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in product management, management consulting, corporate strategy, program & project management preferably within a financial services or related FinTech firm
Flexibility and organizational change management experience
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to evaluate business opportunities and evaluate results against established objectives
Preferences:
Expert communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present materials to the highest levels in the organization and serve as one of the recognized subject matter experts on the team
Expert consensus-builder who drives change across initiatives within and outside direct accountability and evaluates solutions to the most complex business challenges
The ability to work in a cross-functional team and drive outcomes without having direct authority
Actively anticipates, identifies, and manages risks within position scope and at the company
Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced, changing environment
An entrepreneurial drive and a do-what-it-takes attitude, grounded in tangible results to improve the client experience
Excellent organizational time management and organizational skills with keen attention to details
Demonstrate business acumen and the ability to interact with senior leaders, including developing, presenting, and gaining approval on any business cases and funding requests
This role can be based out of our Fort Mill, SC or Jersey City, NJ office.
