We are looking for an experienced Contract Specialist to supporrt our client. This role is responsible for managing contract review, negotiation, and administration to ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and business objectives. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex contractual terms while working with internal teams, vendors and partners to drive successful contract execution.  

This position is contingent on the award of the project 

 Key responsibilities: 

  • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including prime contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements. 
  • Analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies. 

  • Assist in the contract lifecycle management process, including renewals, amendments, and closeouts. 

  • Work closely with legal, finance, procurement, and risk management teams to assess and mitigate risks. 

  • Maintain contract templates and create new templates as needed. 

  • Participate in contract negotiations and ensure favorable terms for the company. 

  • Track contract obligations, ensuring all parties fulfill their commitments. 

  • Support audits and compliance reviews related to contracts. 

  • Keep up to date with changes in contract law, industry regulations, and best practices. 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field. 

  • 3+ years of experience in contract management, procurement, or legal compliance. 

  • Relevant experience in Federal contract management, and basic familiarity with 
    the FAR, AIDAR, 22 CFR 228, 2 CFR 200 and 45 CFR 75 are required. 
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and regulatory requirements. 

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. 

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software. 

  • Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and work under tight deadlines. 

  • Experience with government contracts, commercial contracts, or procurement is a plus.
