The Role

We're looking for a skilled Full-stack engineer to join our software engineering team as a key contributor. Solera’s customer-facing applications are the core of our business, and our internal applications drive future growth. You'll collaborate with a team to build modern frameworks, services, and applications, contributing to our ongoing success in the transportation space.

What You’ll Do

Work across a geographically split team to deliver global data solutions.
Participate in designing, reviewing, and developing applications that enable all products and solutions.
Collaborate with front-end, data, product, QA, and operations teams on design, testing, and release planning.
Contribute to developing frameworks that other developers leverage.
Help identify and resolve performance, scale, and cross-platform stability issues.
Support new technology introductions to the platform.
Contribute to and support technical discussions and decisions.
Comfortable working in teams, with good communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent experience.
4-6 years of software development experience with a history of working in full-stack development environments.
Broad full-stack experience, with knowledge across front-end, services, and data layers.
Solid understanding of modern software development practices, particularly in .NET environments. J2EE nice to have.
2-4 years of experience working with distributed systems on AWS or Azure, leveraging Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with data access layers for SQL and NoSQL systems.
Experience in IoT/Edge, telematics, or machine learning is a plus.
Eagerness to learn and continuously improve.
Strong commitment to internal and external customer satisfaction.
Effective multitasking and quick learning skills.
