The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC is a fast-paced civil litigation firm specializing in plaintiff's side personal injury and school/government liability cases. We are looking for a Calendar Clerk to join our team remotely. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient scheduling of hearings, depositions, deadlines, and other important legal proceedings.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the firm’s litigation calendar with court dates, deadlines, depositions, and appointments.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and court personnel to schedule hearings and meetings.
  • Monitor and track case deadlines to ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
  • File legal documents electronically and confirm hearing dates with courts.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to case management and scheduling.
  • Communicate updates with attorneys and staff regarding calendar changes.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a legal setting, preferably in a calendar clerk or scheduling role.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Familiarity with court rules, deadlines, and legal procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
