Job description

 

As the Assistant Contracting Manager, you will be responsible for procurement in the Overland region (Argentina, Chile, Brazil, and Uruguay), managing supplier relationships, including negotiations and feedback reviews. You will oversee quality control of pricing and system loading while supporting the Contracting Manager in improving profitability, optimizing systems, and driving business growth. Additionally, you will contribute to developing an effective team in the Overland region, ensuring strong collaboration and operational efficiency. 

 

This is a Full-Time Permanent Position that will operate on a remote based in Argentina. 

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Strong knowledge of regional trip operations, particularly small-group adventures in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay. 

  • Proven experience in the tourism industry, specifically in contracting, reservations, product development, sourcing, and supplier management. 

  • Hands-on experience working with country operational offices and tourism suppliers, including cost negotiations. 

  • Understanding of how to design commercially viable, sustainable, experience-rich travel itineraries, incorporating accommodation, transportation, activities, and meals. 

  • Fluent in both written and spoken Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus).
