Summary (Major Purpose of the Role):
Responsible for leading the Drive DeVilbiss business across key areas, including Respiratory Manufacturing, Warehouse Distribution, Asset Allocation, Logistics, and the Respiratory Repair/Spare Parts business. This role also oversees the company's safety program and serves as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing the strategic vision to establish operations as a competitive advantage. This includes leading due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, identifying operational synergies, and overseeing the integration of new acquisitions. Additionally, you will drive the long-term strategic vision for operations, optimizing efficiency, and collaborating with the leadership team to ensure alignment with broader business objectives for sustainable growth.
Main Activities/Responsibilities:
- Run the day-to-day operations of Drive’s $300M respiratory business, which includes respiratory manufacturing operations across a multisite network throughout the United States, with a focus on GMP, product development, process engineering, quality, and operational excellence.
- Lead Warehouse Distribution and Asset Allocation of products across a multisite network in North America, Canada, and the European Distribution Center (EDC), reviewing and optimizing current distribution centers to reduce inter-company transfers and out-of-stock situations. Ensure business assets are allocated in a timely manner to the right orders, supporting business needs across the global network.
- Lead our respiratory repair/spare parts business, made up of 31 factory and dealer-authorized centers across the US, Canada, and the EU.
- Optimize company logistics operations by applying best practices and advanced analytics, driving improvement in the effectiveness and productivity of the distribution network.
- Maximize efficiency and optimize working capital.
- Define operational KPIs and standards, ensuring performance aligns with these standards, including safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Evaluate organizational needs and capability gaps, influencing future organizational design.
- Champion a culture of safety and effectively manage risk mitigation.
- Drive network improvement with a mindset of continuous improvement through Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, and Value Stream Mapping.
- Cultivate strong working relationships across the organization, especially on a cross-functional basis, by sharing strategies, maximizing synergies, collaborating effectively, and developing a mutual sense of accountability.
- Leverage the company’s SAP platform and other systems (including AX) to provide best-in-class automated and integrated support for various components.
- Lead due diligence for acquisitions and expansion plans, identifying operational synergies and ensuring strategic alignment.
- Oversee the seamless integration of newly acquired entities into existing operations, optimizing logistics and driving overall performance improvements.

Reporting Relationships and Supervision:
- This role may have 10 to 12 direct reports, including functional leadership of Manufacturing, Distribution, Logistics, Repair, Safety, and the European Distribution Center (EDC). With a head count of 850 personnel across all the functions.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 20+ years of professional experience, with a strong focus on strategic leadership in manufacturing and operations.
- Medical device experience is preferred, with a solid understanding of the unique quality and regulatory requirements within the regulated life sciences industry.
- Expertise in network optimization for distribution/warehousing operations and logistics/transportation, with a focus on efficiency and cost reduction.
- A proven operations-based career track with extensive experience in managing geographically dispersed operations (wholesale distribution or manufacturing) and serving a diverse, multi-channel customer base.
- Deep experience in site/network leadership for manufacturing and distribution, emphasizing continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Pursuant to New York law, Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare provides a salary range in job advertisements. The salary range for this role is from $275,000.00 to $325,000.00 per year. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors such as the applicant’s experience, specialization, education, as well as the company’s requirements. The provided salary range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits which may be offered to the applicant, if eligible according to the company’s policies.
