Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • Part-time: Flexible (20 hours per week minimum)

Client Timezone: Australian Eastern Time


Join a dynamic multi-company environment as a Part-Time Bookkeeper where you'll play a crucial role in managing financial operations and reporting across various business entities. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern accounting software and handle diverse bookkeeping responsibilities while maintaining high accuracy standards. You'll be instrumental in streamlining financial processes and supporting end-of-year reporting requirements. Responsibilities:

  • Manage bookkeeping operations using Xero accounting software

  • Prepare financial reports and documentation

  • Process ABA payments and handle payment arrangements

  • Perform standard bookkeeping tasks across multiple companies

  • Prepare documentation for VAT and tax reporting

  • Support end-of-financial-year reporting requirements

  • Handle preliminary work for ATO-related documentation

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Xero accounting software

  • Strong knowledge of Australian bookkeeping practices

  • Experience in multi-company bookkeeping preferred

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Strong English communication skills

  • Available for minimum 20 hours per week

  • Filipino timezone compatibility preferred

Scope:

  • Part-time role at 20 hours per week

  • Working across multiple company accounts

  • Remote position with virtual collaboration

  • Preparation of financial documentation (non-filing)

  • Direct access to company Xero system
