Summary:
The Implementation Consultant provides expertise in client configurations for payroll tax products and owns the client’s successful adoption of our solutions. The Implementation Consultant is responsible for project managing, defining client user requirements, configuring, training, testing and successful deployment of the project.
What you'll do
- Provide complete and successful implementation for clients, while being a subject matter expert with our solutions.
- Own all stages of our implementation projects:
- Discover and identify client business requirements.
- Configure/Setup applications based on the client requirements.
- Deliver training on the configured solution.
- Conduct successful testing through unit to system integration prior to client go live.
- Deploy successfully complete implementations.
- Support clients for the first 2 successful payrolls.
- Maintain project plans, status reports and outstanding item listing for each client project.
- Provides support to overcome project hurdles and manage risks, through client and internal team management with the goal of project completion.
- Help develop and manage standard operating procedures for the team in collaboration with other stakeholders.
- Help develop standard project management tools and methodologies and best practices. Partner with Sales, Customer Support, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of client projects.
- Participate in strategic and process improvement initiatives.
- Recognize the need for process improvement and actively lead/participate in process improvement projects.
- Support teams and clients on client acquisitions.
- Department initiatives or other tasks assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in education and experience.
- 10+ years of professional consulting experience in implementing HCM software systems.
- Passion for customer service and overall customer success.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple client projects.
- Demonstrated project management experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.
- Previous conflict management skills.
- Project organization and presentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other software applications and tools is required.
- Willingness to learn and take ownership on projects.
- Demonstrate critical thinking with the ability to approach problems tenaciously and with a sense of urgency.
- Project Management experience with large enterprise clients. Preferably with large HCM providers.
- Ability to travel from time to time (limited travel < 5%).
Compensation
The base range for this role is $90,000-$115,000 depending upon level of experience.
