A reputable CPA firm is seeking a highly skilled International Tax Manager to join their growing team. This is a pivotal role that involves overseeing international tax compliance, managing client relationships, and reviewing complex tax filings. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in international tax, a strong ability to work independently, and a desire to contribute to the firm’s long-term growth. They are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can take ownership of client work and help scale their practice.
Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 / year DOE
International Tax Manager Responsibilities
Review and oversee international tax filings, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Handle complex tax returns
Manage client interactions, providing consultative support and strategic tax planning
Take on leadership responsibilities, mentoring junior staff and assisting in business growth initiatives
Conduct tax research and provide recommendations on international tax matters
Collaborate with leadership to improve workflows and efficiency
Assist in managing workload distribution, especially during peak tax seasons
International Tax Manager Requirements
5-10+ years of international tax experience
CPA or EA certification
At least 1 year of experience as a Tax Manager
Strong knowledge of U.S. tax compliance for international clients
Proficiency in UltraTax and Onvio is a plus
Excellent client communication and relationship management skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment
