Location: Remote (U.S. – Must work PST hours)
Pay Rate: $23/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts anytime between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM PST
About The Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contracts Assistant to join a dynamic healthcare team supporting provider network operations. This remote position offers the opportunity to transition from a temporary role to a full-time, permanent position based on performance.
As a key member of the provider contracting team, you will be responsible for managing contract documentation, provider outreach, and supporting critical workflow processes that ensure timely and accurate provider onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct outreach to healthcare providers to validate information and follow up on outstanding contracts
Send out provider contracts/applications and maintain accurate records of all outbound communication
Track and update provider information in internal systems
Support the contract lifecycle by completing forms, sending welcome packets, and coordinating internal workflows
Prepare closed panel letters and documentation for providers not meeting criteria
Format and distribute provider directories and other network resources
Respond to inquiries from prospective providers regarding contracting processes
Qualifications
2+ years of administrative experience in a professional setting
Experience in the provider space (e.g., provider data, provider outreach, provider contracting)
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Must be able to work Pacific Time (PST) hours
