About the Role

The Advisory Services team is responsible for ensuring a fit for purpose and robust Distribution Channel Advisory Support framework (‘the Framework’) is implemented and maintained, and which enables the Distribution Channel to deliver against its strategic goals and objectives. 

You will Identify business improvement opportunities, which benefit both advisers and their clients, delivering good customer outcomes and business benefits. Working closely with the wider Advisory Services team, you will identify the impact of regulatory, strategic and proposition changes that will have on the material sitting within our Framework, and ensure updates, amendments and supporting content are made available to Distribution Channel firms and advisers.

I am looking for a self-starting team player who has an attention for detail but also the ability to prioritise and act on their own initiative. Commitment to ensuring the team succeeds with all tasks and duties is essential.

 The role responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the daily management of the concessions process to support advisers

  • Contribute to the QFP Advisory Support Framework and its application both in the field and Head Office, ensuring the customer is at the heart of the business.

  • Provide architectural thought and design to the Advisory Support Framework to ensure consistency across all advice areas/processes

  • To create new or amend existing collateral within the Advisory Support Framework to meet regulatory, strategic and proposition changes

  • Monitoring the quality of advice provided by advisers and where appropriate, provide updates to the framework/targeted support activity, to continually help advisers to deliver quality advice and good customer outcomes

  • Where required, work with advisers to address advice quality concerns/issues to help remedy these at adviser, AR and QFP level

  • Contribute to key design decisions within respect to our core technology solutions to support changes and initiatives in line with the Advisory Support Framework

  • Identify, quantify and manage current and emerging risks within the Advisory Support Framework and ensure those risks are recorded.

  • Develop effective processes and relationships with key stakeholders.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:
  • A good understanding of products, advice, compliance and risk

  • Able to demonstrate a strong customer focus and understanding of what results in good customer outcomes

  • A confident approach, self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Strong change delivery focus, with the ability to cope with short timelines and react quickly to changing priorities and key messages

  • A competent assessor of existing and required processes

  • Strong analytical approach and inquisitive nature

  • Able to think at a conceptual and strategic level

  • The ability to quickly build and maintain key relationships with principals, advisers and other key stakeholders

  • A quick learner with ability in solving any issues in a friendly but purposeful manner.

  • The ability to work using own initiative but also work effectively as part of a team

  • A good working knowledge Excel, Word, PowerPoint
