As an assistant, your role is to support the mortgage representative’s business development by carrying out administrative tasks for various transactions. You are responsible for preparing, entering and reviewing mortgage applications while respecting Desjardins's high quality standards. You must manage priorities and demonstrate the necessary leadership to handle administrative and operational requests from the mortgage representative or your immediate manager. Your ability to communicate effectively and your ability to adapt your approach to various situations allow you to coordinate everything and follow up on documentation with clients and internal and external partners in order to provide the best possible service. More specifically, you will be required to:
Manage mortgage applications from the mortgage representative's members and clients and process them within the prescribed deadlines.
Support the mortgage representative's business development activities and help take care of members and clients.
Process requests for information, carry out research, ensure follow-ups, make corrections and, if necessary, propose solutions.
Help improve your department's administrative and operational activities.
Comply with the Desjardins Code of Professional Conduct, governance documents and internal procedures by ensuring that your work demonstrates exemplary compliance.

What you bring to the table
Attestation of Collegial Studies
A minimum of three years of relevant experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge of French is required
Proficiency in IT tools and Office 365
Knowledge of Mortgage financing solutions for individuals (an asset)
Knowledge of Caisse network, other Desjardins components and mortgage players in Quebec
Proficiency in written French.
