POSITION TITLE: Senior Product Manager, Patient Experience

Position Summary

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for defining and optimizing the digital and operational experience across various user touch points with Natera. This is an individual contributor role that will focus on the patient’s billing experience, solving key pain points for the patient, our patient support teams, and other billing operations teams. 

This role will partner with key stakeholders across Natera to drive the strategy and roadmap to guide and support millions of Natera patients through their billing experience. Key business partners that the Sr. Product Manager will work with include: billing, operations, commercial product, platform/technical product, engineering, clinical, marketing, customer support, and sales teams.

The Senior Product Manager will work extensively with cross-functional teams to define requirements, build new features, and implement patient experience improvements that will make it easy for patients to understand and pay their bill, a key area of focus for Natera.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive product strategy, prioritize features, and define requirements for the digital patient billing experience in conjunction with stakeholders across different functional groups within Women’s Health, Organ Health and Oncology businesses. 

  • Collaborate with SMEs across Natera to identify and plan for operational changes driven by new platform and feature launches.

  • Partner with the project manager, business analyst, UX designer, engineers and QA to deliver seamless user experiences that meet both business and user needs.

  • Drive projects from inception and discovery to delivery and post-launch support

  • Provide detailed requirements (PRDs, user stories, user flows), prioritize backlogs, participate/facilitate scrum ceremonies and help define technical solutions with on-shore and off-shore scrum teams. 

  • Define and track KPIs to uncover future product opportunities; analyze relevant data to drive decision-making

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in digital product management; previous experience in healthcare, healthtech,  biotech or billing/payments a plus

  • 1+ years of experience in business operations (e.g., identifying opportunities to streamline end-to-end workflows)

  • 8+ years of professional experience

  • Proven ability to work and influence cross functional teams; effective at building rapport with key stakeholders

  • Prior experience leading and influencing remote engineering teams

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Flexible, and agile; willingness to tackle any type of challenge; highly motivated to roll up sleeves and get work done while also thinking strategically

  • Experience working in an agile development environment; scrum experience a plus

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
