Scale to Win is a fully-remote, progressive, political tech company founded in 2020 by organizing leaders from the Biden/Harris, Bernie 2020, Warren 2020, Bernie 2016, and Hillary for America Presidential campaigns. Our product offerings include Scale to Win Text, our “all-in-one” shortcode and longcode texting tool, and the Scale to Win Dialer, a predictive calling tool. Scale to Win also offers turnkey “We Text” services, where our team builds text campaigns, sends messages, collects data, and ensures compliance on behalf of clients.
We work with more than 3,000 Democratic and progressive campaigns and organizations driving change. Current and past clients include the Biden-Harris campaign, the Democratic National Committee, the Working Families Party, the AFL-CIO, UFCW, MoveOn, and For Our Future.
Scale to Win is hiring a Director of Product management to own product strategy and build the product organization.
About the Role
As Director of Product Management at scale to win you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our product strategy and roadmap. This player/coach role involves building and leading the product team, working closely with leadership, design, engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that solve real-world problems for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer needs.
- Lead customer discovery for both internal and external customers to research and map needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Balance short-term tactical needs with long-term strategic priorities.
- Develop hiring and organizational strategy for the product team and manage any future PM hires (likely one in 2025 and one in 2026).
- Act as a hands-on product leader, driving key projects and initiatives from end to end.
- Serve as the voice of the product team, effectively communicating strategy, trade-offs and progress to leadership and key stakeholders.
Reports to the Managing Partner/CTO.
About You
- You have at least 5 years of direct Product Management and Product Leadership experience and at least 10 total years of experience in product and product-adjacent roles.
- Proven experience hiring, managing and developing product teams.
- Passion for customer- and problem-driven product management, with a strong focus on user needs.
- Expertise in defining and executing end-to-end product strategy, vision, and roadmaps.
- Strong analytical skills, with a track record of prioritizing roadmaps using qualitative and quantitative insights.
- Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels, diving into details while maintaining a high-level perspective.

- Experience with B2B SaaS products.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, especially in the lead-up to major elections. The team collectively designates these periods as “high-intensity,” with increased workload expectations, followed by scheduled recovery time.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, acting as an internal advocate for the product team.
- Bonus: Experience in advocacy, organizing, or political tech.

- $200-250K yearly salary (base). As part of our commitment to equity, salaries are non-negotiable: everyone in the same role receives the same salary.
