About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and autonomous WordPress Developer to join our digital team. You will work independently, under the supervision of a Project Manager based in France, and be responsible for delivering high-quality, custom WordPress solutions across various projects.

Main Responsibilities:

· Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch

· Convert design mockups (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.) into fully functional websites

· Build fast, secure, and scalable WordPress websites

· Ensure ongoing maintenance, updates, and technical optimization

· Troubleshoot issues, perform debugging and write clean documentation

· Collaborate with a French-based project manager via tools such as Slack, ClickUp, and Notion

· Manage development environments (local/staging/production) independently

Your Profile

· Minimum 5 years experience as a WordPress developer

· Strong skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL

· Excellent command of the WordPress ecosystem (custom post types, hooks, filters, ACF, WP-CLI, etc.)

· Ability to develop custom plugins and themes with no reliance on page builders

· Solid understanding of technical SEO, performance optimization, and security best practices

· Proficient with version control tools (Git)

· Highly autonomous, organized, and capable of managing tasks without constant supervision

· Fluent in English (French is a plus but not mandatory)
