Description

Job title: Region Manager – CBUSA
Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 (+ additional bonus opportunities)
Location: Remote - Must be located in the Houston, TX area

The job: 
As a Region Manager at CBUSA, you’ll be at the heart of driving success for independent home builders across your region. You’ll connect builders, suppliers, and manufacturers, helping them access the best products, pricing, and rebates while fostering strong partnerships. By leading strategic meetings and creating new opportunities, you’ll empower builders to stay competitive in an industry dominated by larger players. Your efforts will help expand our growing network, unlock new opportunities, and continue to position CBUSA as the top group purchasing organization in residential construction. Through your leadership, you’ll directly shape the future of the industry—strengthening our community of builders and driving success for everyone involved.

What you will do: 

  • Schedule and lead regular meetings with builder members to review product selections, convert open opportunities to CBUSA national contracts, and encourage network transactions through competitive pricing and services.
  • Plan and facilitate general manager meetings, inviting national contract partners to present their product and service value propositions.
  • Oversee cross-over analysis, presenting results to builder members, and ensure compliance with vendor agreements and policies.
  • Identify and fill gaps within the local preferred vendor network to strengthen partnerships.
  • Conduct monthly membership meetings in each market and implement group purchases of common commodities to enhance market share growth.
  • Motivate and support member participation through pricing incentives, service improvements, and rebate opportunities.
  • Provide ongoing customer support for both builder and vendor members, ensuring high levels of participation and satisfaction.
  • Approach each market uniquely and focus on driving high levels of member participation.
  • Tailor strategies to each market for increased member involvement through meetings and social events.
  • Execute quarterly reporting for builders and vendors in the region and resolve issues as needed.
  • Make decisions that align with membership, vendor agreements, and legal guidelines, including NCP agreements and anti-trust policies.

Who you are and what you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or a related-field, or equivalent experience required.
  • 5 years of experience required in account management, region management and/or sales in the residential construction or building materials industry.
  • Experience in residential homebuilding and/or building material sales required.
  • You have a consultative selling approach.
  • Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and internet applications.
  • Possess problem solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent public speaking ability and comfortable presenting to medium size groups.
