Accounts Receivable Collections Analyst - Huseby

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Accounts Receivable Analyst position is responsible for calling clients to collect on past-due invoices from clients.

Job Duties:

• Review open accounts for collection efforts

• Call customers to collect on outstanding past due invoices

• Meet and exceed established individual performance metrics and objectives

• Make outbound collection calls in a professional manner while building strong relationships and creating clients for life in order to collect on outstanding past due invoices

• Resolve client-billing problems and rescue accounts receivable delinquencies, applying strong client relations in a timely manner

• Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates

• Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss them with management

• Review and monitor assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports

• Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements

• Mail correspondence to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts

• Actively demonstrate our Company values

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, communication and organizational skills.

• Excellent data entry skills

• Ability to interpret and analyze data and make recommendations based on findings.

• Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel

• Proficient in problem solving, research, and client follow up to both external (client) and internal (co-workers) clients.

• Must be detail oriented with the ability to plan work effectively

• Meet assigned deadlines and make sound decisions

• Ability to multitask and shift priorities

• Ability to work under pressure

• Capable of taking direction from more than one Supervisor

• Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance

• Demonstrates a commitment to company objectives

• Ability to resolve challenges and suggest process improvement

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years collections or dispute resolution experience

• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite

• College degree preferred

• NetSuite experience preferred

• Legal education or experience a plus
