Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule: 21 hours per week - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday: 9am to 5pm with 1 hour unpaid break (7 hours per day)
Client Timezone: Central Standard Time (Killen, AL)

  • Manage monthly bookkeeping services for multiple client accounts using QuickBooks

  • Process and categorize financial transactions using cash basis accounting methods
  • Maintain meticulous and up-to-date financial records for a diverse client portfolio
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy across all financial documents
  • Communicate proactively about questions or issues that arise during the bookkeeping process
  • Collaborate with the business owner to streamline bookkeeping processes and improve efficiency
  • Adapt to varying client needs while maintaining consistent quality standards

  • Proven experience of 3+ years in professional bookkeeping roles
  • Strong proficiency with QuickBooks and confidence in navigating its features
  • Demonstrated expertise in cash basis accounting principles and practices

  • Availability to work during Central Standard Time business hours
