Software Developer Technical Lead

Our work depends on Software Developer Senior Technical Lead joining our team to design/develop/modernize the client's software in a highly Agile environment attending daily scrums and following Sprint Ceremonies/Best Practices performing the following:
 

  • Leading and working on a fast-paced Angular/Java/Springboot development effort in a DevOps environment with a 100% remote Agile team
  • Building and coding applications using Spring/Springboot framework in an AWS cloud environment.
  • Building and maintaining a Java based, common software interface that allows application programmers to perform CRUD (Create, Replace, Update, Delete) operations within a relational database using java POJOs (Plain Old Java Objects)
  • Demonstrating an understanding of the common design patterns associated with standard object persistence mechanisms, standard persistence frameworks like MyBatis and Hibernate, an understanding of when to use POST & PUT, and how to (de)marshal objects between JSON and POJO
  • Demonstrating Oracle (SQL and PL/SQL) experience


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Required Experience: 5+ years of related development and team leadership with an Agile development team
● Required Technical Skills:

  • 5+ years of Java experience – preferably Java 21
  • 2+ years of Oracle (SQL and PL/SQL) experience
  • 2+ years of AWS experience with ECS (building docker images and deploying them in cluster), Node/NPM
  • Building and coding applications using Spring/Spring boot framework
  • Angular 17 or above
  • Java Rest APIs / microservices
  • Terraform and Github pipeline setups

● Security Clearance Level: Public Trust
● Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to lead, communicate and troubleshoot with a team that works 100% remotely
  • Be online and responsive to the team and client using email/TEAMS chat during business hours

● Preferred Skills:

  •  automated build environments and tools (CICD)
  • Shell scripting
  • Gitlab Runner, Docker
  • Junit, SONAR, Cloudbees, Jersey
  • REST Web Service

The likely salary range for this position is $121,680 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
