Job description

Location: Remote - cover Southern BH Programs

Status: Full Time Hourly                     FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Summary of Position: 

Behavioral Health (BH) Administrative Support Specialist plays a vital role in supporting our behavioral health programs by handling administrative, compliance, and quality assurance tasks. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Behavioral Health, this position involves regular data entry and aggregation, as well as maintaining records related to productivity, quality, and credentialing.

The BH Administrative Support Specialist will assist with handling medical records requests and provide support during external audits as needed. The Specialist will perform various tasks to ensure the quality provision of behavioral health services in compliance with all applicable regulations and policies, while maintaining fiscal sustainability.

Qualifications/Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree in a business administration and/or healthcare is preferred. 
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or administrative role preferred.
  • Previous experience in a Behavioral Health setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook), other office software, data management systems, and electronic health record systems (EHR)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Salary: $42,000-49,000
