As the Director of Regional Marketing for the East, you will lead a Regional Team and have individual responsibility for planning and executing the overall integrated marketing plan. You will work with your own team, the Americas extended marketing team & Global team members to develop fully integrated campaign plans and programs that are aligned to the business objectives of the Americas sales organization. This entails executing global and regional campaigns in-country, providing feedback and strategy recommendations aligned to local business requirements, and working with cross-functional teams on region-specific programs and campaigns. 

 

As part of a high-growth team and region, this role will be responsible for leading a team of talented and highly capable marketers to deliver relevant, timely, and effective integrated marketing campaigns. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong blend of strategic and creative thinking, leadership skills, and hands-on execution in a field marketing context. 

They will need to showcase relevant experience and expertise across multiple segments and routes to market, delivering customer-focused insights and data-driven marketing programs through an omni-channel approach.  

 

In addition, collaboration and engagement with key stakeholders at the sales and marketing levels are important to deliver successful outcomes, given that we operate within a matrixed, highly collaborative, and open environment, where relationship building across teams is important to achieving alignment.   

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Regional Sales & Market Analysis 
  • Sales pipeline analysis for pipeline build activities 
  • Identify business opportunities through market assessment, sizing and segmentation 
  • Track general business indicators, including market share, and competitor's marketing and sales programs and activities. 
  • Establish key performance indicators for executional team to track, measure, and optimize funnel performance across multiple channels 
  • Measure and report ROI metrics to leadership on an ongoing basis  
  • Own the overall omni-channel approach and calendar 
  • Manage and optimize marketing-influenced pipeline 
  • Develop and manage field marketing activities based on assigned marketing budget and MDF 
  • Drive the execution of integrated demand generation and nurturing campaigns for new prospects and current leads, across various marketing engines both online and offline – with a strong focus on Channel Marketing 
  • Plan, coordinate and execute events, trade shows and sales meetings, including agenda and content definition, preparation of presentation materials, logistics arrangement, booth scheduling, shipping and staffing of these events and post-event follow-up – in coordination with the Field Marketing Manager. 
  • Attend internal and selected external meetings with partners and customers to stay close to the ground 
  • Participate actively in regular AMER marketing planning and review calls and meetings 
  • Be the voice of the customer and partners with internal teams, and rally support from them towards resolving outstanding issues and challenges 
  • Work in collaboration with sales, sales support, product development and other cross-functional teams to develop marketing campaigns. 
Requirements:

 

  • East Coast Based 
  • 5+ years of experience leading and building a diverse team in a matrixed environment 
  • BS or BA in Business or related field of study at a minimum.  
  • Innovative & Creative thinking -Has the ability to think outside the box to capture market attention and get creative 
  • Proven experience in successfully leading field marketing teams, with a track record of achieving results; knowledge of demand generation, digital marketing, account based marketing (ABM), and partner marketing 
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced and open environment and create the context and working environment for associates to deliver beyond expectations 
  • Deep understanding of how to use market intelligence, insight, and data to formulate and develop strategies and plans 
  • Knowledge of and experience working with the partner ecosystem and best practices in partner marketing and co-marketing 
  • Accountable for organizational alignment, planning, and budget management 
  • Deep understanding of functional aspects of campaign management and technical administration through marketing automation tools 
  • 10-20% Travel required within the US.

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.
