Key responsabilities:

Collect and implement user requirements, including specifications and documentation.

Develop and maintain SAS applications, including migration activities to SAS Viya.

Provide 2nd level user support, training, and documentation updates for SAS statistical domains.

Participate in the modernization of SAS/GSAST, including requirements specifications and test case development.

Job description

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for an SAS Technical Consultant & Support Specialist to join our UniQue team.

Collection, implementation and follow up of user requirements:

requirements specifications,
technical and user documentation,
models and diagrams production,
workload estimations,
test cases and regression tests reports.

Development and maintenance of GSAST and other SAS applications, including planned migration activities in SAS Viya.
2nd level User support, training and documentation updates for SAS statistical domains.
Participation in the modernization of SAS/ GSAST and related statistical tools:

requirements specifications for new or revised functionalities,
test cases and test results,
updates on relevant technical and user documentations.

Requirements

What will you be bringing to the team?

Master Degree in IT or related to the role field with a minimum of 5 years of general IT experience OR Bachelor Degree and minimum of 9 years of general IT experience.
At least 4 years of specific expertise in Statistics and SAS programming.
Previous experience with GSAST is required.
Experience with SAS, C#, Unix/linux bash scripts.
Experience with OLAP cubes is required.
Familiarity with SAS Viya Platform.
Familiarity with standard coding, release management and deployment tools (eg. GIT, BitBucket, Bamboo, or similar).
Familiarity with ticketing systems like the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) or similar.
Knowledge of programming in PYTHON will be an advantage.
Ability to give business and technical presentations. Capability to write clear and structured technical documents.
Ability to apply high quality standards.
Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
Analysis and problem solving skills.
Very good knowledge of written and spoken English is required.
