Job description

This is an opportunity to help guide key components of our cloud-based digital operations platform including our Android and iOS mobile apps. If you’ve ever wanted a chance to drive product innovation for a dynamic and growing cloud-service company, this is the position you’ve been looking for.

As Senior Product Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with our amazing engineers, product managers, product communicators, marketers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to design and shape our world-class platform. You'll also interact and meet with our name-brand customers to assess market needs and represent them within xMatters, an Everbridge company. If you have the technical skills and experience to be an outstanding product manager, we want to hear from you.

What you'll do:
  • Work closely with our software architects and UX team to define new features.
  • Interact with customers, sales, consulting, support, and other stakeholders to identify the highest value investments we can make in our product.
  • Collaborate with engineering to maintain development backlogs and support our sprint process with planning, shoulder surfs, and reviews.
  • Assist in rollouts by delivering/overseeing webinars, training, documentation, and other release artifacts.
  • Participate in product marketing team activities to brag about our awesome creations!

  • What you'll bring:
  • BA/BS degree, preferably computer-science related... but we’ve seen PMs with unrelated degrees nailing it, so if you think you’ve got what it takes, we're open-minded.
  • 2+ years in product management and 3+ years in software development or implementation.
  • Solid communication skills — you love interacting with users to identify the features they need.
  • Strong desire for frequent customer interaction.
  • Confidence to open Postman or write a few lines of JavaScript to verify the behavior of a new API call.
  • Experience working in an SRE/DevOps-savvy environment.
  • Working knowledge of IT processes and systems, especially ITSM and ITOM.
  • The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Everbridge ranges from $110,000 - $150,000 CAD and may also include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Everbridge offers a wide range of best-in-class, comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits for this role including healthcare, dental care, mental health benefits, disability income benefits, life and AD&D insurance, retirement savings plan with employer match, and paid time off.
