Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

Job Summary:
The Title Processor & Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vehicle titles, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations. This role involves processing titles from various sources, responding to customer inquiries, minimizing rejections, and conducting thorough quality assurance checks to guarantee data integrity across multiple systems. A strong background in Quality Assurance (QA), compliance, and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures is essential.

Responsibilities:


Title Processing:

• Timely Processing:  Adhere to SLA (3 business days end-to-end process). Aim to process a minimum of 15 titles per day.
• Source Management:  Efficiently manage title work received from mail, email, and customer portals.
• Documentation:  Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all title processing activities.

Customer Service:

• Customer Communication:  Assist in answering customer inquiries via portal and email.
• Email Responsiveness:  Acknowledge receipt of all customer emails on the same day they are received.
• Status Updates:  Respond to customer status emails within 1 business day.

Compliance & Rejection Management:

• Rejection Minimization:  Strive to minimize title rejections by adhering to established procedures and staying informed about regulatory changes.
• Cheat Sheet Maintenance:  Regularly update and maintain cheat sheets with the latest requirements.
• Rejection Follow-Up:  Follow up on rejections regularly.

Quality Assurance (QA):
• Data Accuracy:  Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on data entered into various systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• System Validation:  Verify data integrity across multiple platforms and databases.
• Compliance Verification:  Ensure all title processing and customer service activities comply with relevant regulations, including KYC and other compliance requirements.
• Error Identification:  Identify and document data discrepancies, errors, and compliance issues.
• Reporting:  Generate and maintain QA reports and metrics.
• Process Improvement:  Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance data accuracy and compliance.
• Regulatory Updates:  stay up to date on all compliance and regulatory changes.
• System Proficiency:  Must be able to learn and utilize multiple software systems.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Quality Assurance (QA), compliance, and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.
• Strong understanding of title processing and related regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
• Proficiency in using computer systems and databases.  
• Ability to learn new software quickly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to problem solve.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the automotive industry or related field. (Preferred but not required)
• Familiarity with DMV regulations and title processing procedures. (Preferred but not required)
