Our team is fully remote, with most of our engineers currently spread over the Americas but have been building out teams in Europe as well. About You

  • You live in the EMEA (Europe, Middle-East, Africa) timezones.
  • You understand that great things are accomplished when teams work together.
  • You’ve made a lot of mistakes, and most importantly, have learned from them.
  • You have 2 years of experience handling teams of 2-6 high-performing engineers.
  • You have experience performing technical interviews.
  • You have experience with the development of reliable and maintainable web applications and services.
  • You have experience mentoring and coaching team members.
  • You know how to find a balance to deliver high-quality software often.
  • You can collaborate with your team and also with the rest of the teams and departments in the company.

The Role

  • You will lead a remote team of 2-6 backend and frontend engineers from several nationalities on a complex distributed application.
  • You will mentor and coach team member and ensure they are engaged at work and have growth opportunities.
  • You will create a trusting, healthy and friendly environment for your team, where transparency is key and feedback can be provided in any direction respectfully and professionally.
  • You will be in charge of hiring, evaluating team members performance and letting them go if required.
  • You can plan and execute software projects of different sizes without micromanaging your team.
