Job description

As a Senior Accountant - Revenue You Will:

The Senior Accountant - Revenue will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely reports, applying accounting principles to analyze financial information, and ensuring appropriate accounting control procedures. You’ll work closely with FP&A, Sales Ops, and Billing to ensure the accuracy of our revenue recognition and related accounting in compliance with ASC 606 and internal accounting policies.

About You:

  • Lead the revenue close process for the MANTL business segment, including the preparation of general ledger entries, reconciliations, and the accurate presentation of financial statements
  • Support the quote-to-cash cycle by reviewing billing runs and researching invoicing issues
  • Own the implementation of financial and billing processes related to new products and revenue streams to ensure the Company’s revenue recognition is accurate and in compliance with ASC 606
  • Assist with revenue SOX compliance and ensure SOX requirements are met for relevant areas as well as participate in the annual audit and quarterly reviews performed by our auditors
  • Ad hoc reporting and special projects, as requested

We Are Looking For:

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • CPA certification or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of progressively responsible experience at either a Big 4 public accounting firm or a global, publicly traded high-tech organization
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, primarily revenue recognition (ASC 606) as it applies to cloud software revenue and usage-based revenue
  • Attention to detail and experience multitasking and prioritizing to deliver impact in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (oral and written) and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels at the company
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience using Netsuite and Netsuite ARM preferred
