Requirements

We’re looking for a seasoned freelance PR & Communications professional with deep expertise in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry to support strategic projects on a part-time (2-3 days per month), ongoing basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to partner with a dynamic and growing communications team, providing senior counsel, narrative development, and external communications support for pharma clients. What you'll do:

  • Provide strategic PR and communications counsel on pharma-related projects and campaigns
  • Support the development of media materials, thought leadership content, and press strategies
  • Offer expert input on reputation management, issues preparedness, and stakeholder comms
  • Liaise with senior client stakeholders and external partners as needed
  • Contribute to messaging frameworks, media training, and campaign execution when required
  • Be available 2–3 days per month, with flexibility depending on project cycles

Experience:

8+ years' experience in PR, communications, or corporate affairs, with a focus on pharmaceutical or life sciences clients Strong track record advising at senior level (e.g. C-suite, global comms leads)
Solid understanding of regulatory considerations, medical affairs, and scientific comms
Exceptional writing, messaging, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and integrate quickly into ongoing projects
Ideally agency and in-house experience (but not essential)
