The Role

We have an immediate opportunity for a Senior Accountant, Revenue to join the team. This mid-level role reports to our Accounting Manager and owns our revenue accounting, supports the month-end close, and partners cross-functionally to ensure accurate reporting as we expand globally.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other SalesForce users to optimize CRM data integrity
  • Support the billing team as needed in the invoicing and collections process.
  • Own all aspects of revenue accounting, including month-end close revenue entries, and deferred revenue / unbilled receivable schedules.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly A/R and revenue reporting, including aging details, normalized revenue reports, and SaaS KPI metrics.
  • Work closely with other finance team members to align revenue reporting with forecasts and business goals.
  • Help optimize our NetSuite setup and drive automation of manual processes.
  • In collaboration with other members of the finance team, develop FP&A reporting and forecasting around revenue, contract retention, and growth.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years of revenue recognition experience.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP generally and ASC 606 specifically.

  • Solid Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets and systems.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
