The Role

The Legal Specialist is responsible for providing administrative, paralegal, and clerical support across various legal matters, including intellectual property, corporate, regulatory, and litigation affairs. This role ensures legal and regulatory compliance by managing contracts, conducting legal analysis, and supporting legal administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in contract development, negotiation, and management to ensure compliance with legal and business requirements.
  • Conduct legal research, provide advisory support, and interpret corporate, regulatory, and commercial laws.
  • Support the preparation, review, and administration of legal documents, filings, and reports.
  • Manage legal records, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external legal teams on legal matters, including risk assessment and dispute resolution.
  • Assist with litigation support, legal discovery, depositions, and mediation processes.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and provide updates to relevant teams.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in legal administration, contract management, or corporate legal affairs.

  • Strong understanding of contract law, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment.

  • Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple legal tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency in legal documentation and case management systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of intellectual property laws and litigation processes
  • Experience working in a corporate legal department or law firm
  • Certification in contract management or legal administration
