The following position is to join our Corporate RTX Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) team:

 

Position Overview:

Experienced IT leader in Office 365 and M365 environments, skilled in managing teams and driving global implementations and migrations. Expertise in cross-functional collaboration, security compliance, and third-party integrations. Strong in strategic planning, process optimization, IT transformation, mergers, acquisitions, and legacy decommissioning.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and manage a dedicated team of O365 Engineers including the onboarding, offboarding, design, and process.
  • Serve as an Office 365 expert, managing tenant creation, migration, and enterprise challenges across various Microsoft tenants (ex. Commercial, GCC High, and GCC environments).
  • Work across areas within Enterprise Services to partner on solution, support, and program deliveries while representing Tenant Engineering services and organization.
  • Drive and manage the global implementation and oversight of M365 tenant environments for 200,000+ users.
  • Ensure architecture and design align with RTX and M365 standards.
  • Maintain semi-annual multi-tenant configuration documentation including all appropriate ATO\Clara certifications.
  • Administer Power Platform, Dynamics and Power BI policies ensuring user and provide senior leadership.
  • Approve and communicate change management requests.
  • Partner with appropriate Microsoft product owners to provide configuration, service, and support -  ex. Exchange, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Oversee daily project operations, resources, and task assignments.
  • Troubleshoot Tier 3 issues, elevate critical risks, and collaborate on solutions.
  • Identify and test new Microsoft O365 products, ensuring compliance and addressing feature gaps.
  • Enforce Legal and Cyber security controls to meet RTX standards.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft on support escalations and manage knowledge base updates.
  • Ability to create and\or run powershell scripts as needed
  • Advise on M365 functionality, licensing, and third-party integrations.
  • Manage Microsoft licensing true-ups and product reservations for multi-tenants.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including licensing and server support.
  • Assist with decommissioning legacy products and integrating with M365 tenants.

 

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • 5 to 7 years experience in Microsoft Office 365 services
  • 3 to 5 years general experience in networking, proxy, and network routing.
  • 2+ years experience with powershell or coding experience
  • 2+ years experience with Microsoft licensing models
  • 5 to 7 years experience in leading and managing staff
  • U.S. Citizen Required
  • Location:  TX or CT will consider Remote

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
