Job Summary

We are seeking a highly specialized Senior Manager of AI Solution Design to join our AI/MarTech team. This individual will bring a unique blend of skills and experience in AI design, data science, analytics, and product management all within the context of large-scale enterprise operations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the traditional software development lifecycle, advanced data science principles, and enterprise architecture; particularly in scaling AI operations and transforming traditional business intelligence into operationalized, data-driven insights. This role demands a proven track record of successful projects at scale within large telecom companies, demonstrating the ability to integrate these complex skill sets to drive innovation and achieve business goals.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

    • Lead cross-functional teams in the design and delivery of AI-centered solutions that operationalize business intelligence and machine learning models at scale, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and maximizing KPIs across all customer interaction channels. 

    • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams and other key partners to gather and refine requirements, ensuring that AI solutions meet business needs and technical standards. 

    • Develop and refine user stories, create architectural diagrams, data flow diagrams, API contracts, and other documentation to clearly communicate the design and functionality of AI solutions. 

    • Conduct cost/benefit analysis, build vs. buy assessments, and statement of work management to ensure optimal resource allocation and project execution. 

    • Manage multiple high-visibility, multi-million-dollar projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, quality control, and alignment with strategic objectives. 

    • Perform quality checks on decisioning tactics to ensure they meet performance expectations and contribute to overall business success. 

    • Spearhead the creation of scalable real-time feedback loops, platforms for customer journey analytics, and automated communication solutions, driving significant efficiency improvements and enhancing customer experience. 

    • Drive continuous improvement of business processes through automation, system integration, and the application of advanced AI techniques to reduce manual effort, minimize errors, and accelerate time to market. 

    • Mentor and lead teams in best practices for AI solution design, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning. 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 

    • 10+ years of experience in AI design, data science, and software development within large-scale enterprises, preferably in the telecom industry. 

    • Proven experience in managing large, complex AI and MarTech projects with a strong focus on operationalizing machine learning models and business intelligence. 

    • Deep understanding of enterprise architectures, including cloud-based systems (AWS preferred), and the ability to scale them for AI operations. 

    • Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, system architecture, and engineering principles. 

    • Proficiency in creating technical documentation, including user stories, architectural diagrams, and API contracts. 

    • Certifications in AWS (Solution Architect, Developer, Machine Learning Specialty) and Pega (Certified System Architect, Decisioning Consultant, or the like) 

    • Strong leadership project management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams. 

    Desired Requirements: 

    • Master’s degree in related field. 

    • Experience with real-time event processing platforms and customer journey analytics. 

    • Familiarity with automated communication platforms and AI-driven customer engagement tools. 

    • Knowledge of advanced decisioning platforms and techniques for optimizing customer interactions. 

    • Experience with product management, particularly creating and executing strategic roadmaps for AI and MarTech solutions. 

    • Strong communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

    • Understanding of Comcast Business specific architecture, systems, and processes.
