Job description

The Sales Manager’s primary objectives are the development and sales of new AutoStore projects, in EMEA with a focus on the Benelux market. In close cooperation with the local Kardex and AutoStore organization. By using his own excellent network and cold calling potential clients, he builds up new customer relationships to develop AutoStore opportunities. The Job holder cooperates with the company’s existing sales community.

The sales manager is highly customer-oriented and has an excellent know how about the customer’s logistics processes and requirements. He is able to evaluate potential opportunities, consult the customer accordingly and propose solutions. In close collaboration with logistics consultants other teammates or independently, the best possible logistics and IT solution for the customer’s benefit is developed and proposed. The sales manager is experienced in negotiations and has an excellent ability to close deals.

The sales manager is highly motivated to work in a growing organization and is open for a wide range of tasks at different locations in Europe.

Your tasks

Main Accountabilities (tasks and responsibilities)

  • Business development towards AutoStore solutions and creating opportunities
  • Identification and development of opportunities for AutoStore projects in general
  • Sales of AutoStore solutions, lead the sales phase from acquisition until contract
    meaning: Sales project development including design, simulation, layout, budget/fix offer, contract negotiation, closing the deal
  • Creation of optimal solutions that deliver customer benefit
  • Constant customer communication, maintaining a strong client relationship

Your profile

Job Requirements

Training/Education:

  • Business administration or technical degree in engineering
  • Dutch as mother tongue
  • Excellent in English, other languages are an advantage

Professional Experience:

  • 5+ years experience with sales and consulting in the Intralogistics
  • Proven portfolio of sold projects

Other:

  • Experience with sales project and team management
  • Detailed understanding of intralogistics and IT processes
