Background & Purpose of the Job

This role entails proactive analysis of current business trends, oversight of trade investment, monitoring & tracking business performance, developing sales presentations, and identifying future opportunities while minimizing potential risks to the existing business.
 

What You’ll Do

The position will require advanced skills in managing, SSAS, Power BI, and IRI as well as being proficient Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate should have exceptional Excel skills and be detail-oriented, as these are critical for success. The role is responsible for weekly analysis and reporting of sales, trends, and competitive activity, along with creating actionable insights from the analysis of these trends. ​

  • Manage regular reporting (daily/weekly/monthly) for the division
  • Own preparation of monthly MRB review deck
  • Lead preparation and facilitation of monthly field forecast files
  • Manage trade incremental process and own TMT submission
  • Track division priorities and hold teams accountable to delivering against goals
  • Independently partner with customer teams on ad hoc business issues
  • Use existing data platforms to create new methodology to analyze business opportunities and risks 
  • Analyze promotions for market and financial performance; provide recommendations for future execution
  • Provide support in Evergreen and Pigment

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree required (business/marketing/communications)
  • Minimum 1-year related experience: demonstrating knowledge of customer, data, systems, and ability to analyze info and trends to make recommendations required
  • Microsoft Office: Excel & Power Point proficiency required
  • Experience with Syndicated data (Circana)
  • Customer management/service or finance background is a plus
  • Experience with sales recaps and spending/forecasting reporting preferred

A highly analytical background along with a desire to win are attributes needed for our candidate to succeed in this role.
  • You’re a storyteller: The position will require timely communication and in-depth analytical support focused on business solutions. Reporting and managing professional presentations are necessary for the role, but the ideal candidate will also have the ability to effectively communicate that idea or story.
  • You’re a dot connector: The position will require the ability to retrieve and analyze many different data points from multiple sources. The ideal candidate will have the ability to connect these points quickly to understand emerging trends as they are happening.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $86,080 to $129,120. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. 

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
