Our Salesforce team at Veeam is responsible for building integrated, scalable, and robust solutions for our stakeholders. We are currently looking for an experienced, insightful, forward-thinking technical leader with experience supporting a global Salesforce platform team. In this role, you will lead a team of Salesforce professionals as they work to deliver value for our business.

A successful candidate will bring a proven track record of leading impactful Salesforce initiatives, coupled with a deep understanding of platform architecture and best practices. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for effectively managing teams and aligning initiatives with organizational goals. Additionally, a passion for mentorship and talent development will foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the Salesforce engineering team.

Reports to: Director of Salesforce Engineering, Corporate Technology

Your tasks will include: 
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Salesforce engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the team's success
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, positivity and continuous improvement within the Salesforce engineering team
  • Set clear goals and expectations for team members, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives and priorities
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Salesforce engineering projects and initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, business partners, and cross-functional teams
  • Work with the product team to develop and maintain a roadmap for Salesforce platform enhancements, integrations, and optimizations to support business growth and scalability
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data privacy laws, and industry standards
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to inform the Salesforce technology roadmap, drive innovation and help the team grow
  • Drive the adoption of new Salesforce features, technologies, and methodologies to drive business value and competitive advantage
What we expect from you:
  • 4+ years of people management experience leading a team of 6 or more salesforce employees
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and administration
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, capabilities, and limitations, with experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong Agile project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working on large Salesforce implementations with 2000 users or more
  • Experience with public company compliance requirements (SOX, GDPR, etc.)
Will be an advantage:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce App Builder, Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, or any of the Architect certifications are highly desirable

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.

$153,200$218,900 USD
