Job description

DashMart is DoorDash’s first-party grocery and convenience business. We delight customers with our fresh, local, and reliable products and leverage the DoorDash platform to offer new shopping experiences for a wide range of selection.

About the Role

We’re looking to hire a Real Estate Specialist who will play a critical role in reviewing property survey data to narrow down property options towards site selection for new DashMart locations. The Specialist will work closely with internal real estate teammates, real estate brokers and transaction managers, and the DashMart launch team to ensure data accuracy, analyze property information, coordinate tours with local contacts, and guide decision making on which properties the team should lease. This role will also focus on developing and refining our real estate site identification strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of the DashMart business and real estate search process.
  • Review real estate property surveys each week to help identify new DashMart locations we might want to lease.
  • Work with our internal real estate team members and external real estate partners to ensure we are getting full and accurate information on each property.
  • Communicate updates to internal stakeholders and update status documentation daily
  • Assist in improving our currently defined processes by suggesting, testing, implementing and documenting any process changes to continue refining our Real Estate strategies.
  • Act as the first decision-making gatekeeper for shortlisting and identifying new DashMart properties in collaboration with the rest of the Real Estate team.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree required - new grads welcome!
  • Must have strong ownership mentality
  • Computer savvy with working knowledge of Google sheets and/or Excel functions. Some familiarity with SQL a plus!
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams at once while remaining organized and detail oriented

  • Motivated by the ambiguous and excited about making a direct impact on the processes of a team that is scaling quickly
