Job Summary

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

 

This position is responsible for developing high-quality courses for online and hybrid environments for the training department across the organization. This position works closely with Vice President of Training and is responsible for the supervision of the curriculum team. In addition, they provide instructional design support, consultation, needs-based training and guidance for best-practices, compliance support, and quality assurance.

Qualifications:


    Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience is required.
    Knowledge of performance-based instructional design.  Adobe Captivate, Prime and instructional design methodology preferred.
    Sales training experience preferred.
    Five (5) years of related experience at a college or university or corporate training environment
    Experience in successfully prioritizing, managing multiple projects, and working in a diverse and professional team environment
    Creates an environment that acknowledges, encourages and celebrates differences

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

  • Plan, organize, and conduct workshops in new content designs or programs for internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordination and implementation of curriculums
  • Coordinates with SME’s to develop online courses that meet the standards for quality assurance as determined by the training department
  • Supervise and be responsible for the quality of work created by the Instructional Design team
  • Review coursework against training requirements for external and internal stakeholders
  •  Proofread, coordinate, approve and maintain curriculum developed by the Instructional Design team
  • Analyze learner performance data to improve retention in programs
  •  Assess and discuss the implementation of curriculum standards with stakeholders
  •  Responsible to create and design an onboarding curriculum for our new hires
  • Recommend teaching techniques and the use of different or new technologies
  • Develop procedures for facilitators to implementing a curriculum
  • Mentor or coach internal Instructional design team to improve their skills
  • Coordinate the project plan and progress made by the curriculum team
  • Review and approve course content in client LMS created by the Course Development team
  • Collaborate with the Partnerships team and Business Development team
  • Perform other duties as assigned
