The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Data (ES-Data) Team:
RTX’s Enterprise Data Services (ES-Data) group has an opening for a Data Policy Manager (Sr. Manager, Business Systems and Transformation) to support RTX’s focus on Digital Thread/Data Strategy as part of our enterprise-wide Digital Transformation initiative. This individual will support Data Governance at ES-Data; partner with colleagues within the ES-Data and across RTX businesses, ES and Corporate to help develop, implement and manage data policies associated to ES-Data products and RTX wide initiatives; ensure ongoing compliance and continued collaboration. The ES-Data’s Data Governance Policy Manager is an enthusiastic champion of data compliance and governance, offering BU’s consulting, adoption methods, training, and assistance to ensure is secure and compliant for RTX.
ES-Data’s Data Policy Manager will help customers (RTX BU's) transform their organizations by leading organization-wide data governance capabilities to improve the protection of sensitive data and information assets. The position will focus on establishing and ensuring adherence to an enterprise data governance framework for data policies, standards, and practices, both at the department and Business and Functional areas level, to achieve the required level of consistency, quality, and protection to meet overall business needs.
Serve as a point of escalation for data policy as it applies to ES-Data capabilities and will work closely with Business and Functional area leadership to leverage RTX Data Governance capabilities and best practices, respond to regulatory protection requirements as well as support the strategic requirements of the department.
What You Will Do:
· Partner with BU and Corporate groups to understand data security and compliance needs of their data to demonstrate how the ES-data capabilities can support and delivery value for their teams.
· Coordinate and develop data policies with the tooling to align legal, regulatory and organizational requirements.
· Coordinate with department heads and management to assess policy needs and develop strategies to address organizational challenges.
· Ongoing monitoring and adherence to data policies, industry regulations and organizational standards.
· Capture and document requirements, performing system analysis into a data policy management capabilities and services in support of the data governance prioritized product backlog.
· Work with the policy management administrative representatives from each BU and corporate to implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive information and unauthorized access, use or disclosure.
· Develop and execute plans for responding to data breaches, including incident assessment, containment and recovery.
· Create and conduct a regular cadence of risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in data systems and policies.
· Generate training materials to educate employees on data privacy practices, policies, and procedures.
· Lead ongoing coordination and communication with legal, compliance and cyber teams to align RTX policy requirements to data requirements.
· Lead continuous optimization of effective data policy enforcement and processes.
· Be part of an integrated data governance team to ensure alignment to RTX standards for projects and initiatives.
· Travel up to 10% domestically

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
