Pre-Sales Clinical Application Specialist, AM&D Diagnostic Cardiology - East

The Diagnostic Cardiology (DECG) Clinical Application Specialist (East Region) utilizes their clinical knowledge and product expertise to serve as a customer advocate, deliver strategic and transformative solutions in conjunction with the Philips sales organization, and serves as a clinical expert providing deep clinical experience and consultation.  The Clinical Consultant is an expert at evaluating the customer’s current workflow and state of monitoring to determine the appropriate solution to maximize efficiencies and return on investment for the customer.

Your role:

  • You will develop and execute winning clinical sales strategies for Philips’ to expand market share (installed base replacements and competitive conversions).  You will assist zone to grow the installed base business by presenting and positioning Diagnostic Cardiology solutions competitively.
  • You will collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop by hospital, an install base and clinical workflow analysis to establish competitive positioning and understand upcoming opportunities.  You will drive business development strategy of the territory.
  • You will collaborate with the iECG Account Managers, Diagnostic Cardiology Commercial Leadership, Ambulatory Cardiac Monitoring Sales Leadership, and BIU Leadership to own the Clinical strategy of the Diagnostic Cardiology solution.
  • You will work with customers on technology and process changes and acts as the strategic clinical expert for the Philips Diagnostic Cardiology solutions portfolio.
  • You will drive order intake, sales of clinical services, and SMA opportunities to meet quota.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a minimum of 3 years in clinical experience in critical care, cardiology, nurse management, or clinical education.  You have a bachelors degree or equivalent experience. 
  • You have strong clinical skills and strong knowledge of how the adoption of technology can impact workflow and influence patient outcomes with strong Cardiology, EP expertise.  You have an understanding of IT/EMR, Clinical Workflow and Ambulatory Cardiac Monitoring
  • You have excellent presentation and communication skills for engagement with C-Suite. Ability to navigate large cross-functional teams and influence direction. 
  • Ability to travel 50%-75%
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $145,000 to $156,000 annually, plus company fleet/car.  Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance. 

Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here.
