Reporting to the Senior Manager, Translation Services, the Sr. Translator – Reviser position will review and proofread various company documents from English to French. Must adhere to Starbucks' guiding principles.
As a Sr. Translator - Reviser, You Will
Revision
Review documents translated by service providers to ensure accuracy, terminology, and branding.
Occasionally review translations completed by other team members and provide feedback.
Proofread product packaging, in-store signage, etc., to ensure regulatory and operational accuracy.
Occasionally translate (approximately 20% of the time).
Other
Contribute to the creation and updating of the company's terminology database.
Participate in marketing meetings for new products and services.
We’d Love To Hear From People With
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in translation and revision.
Ability to apply multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve positive results in projects and activities across the organization.
Bachelor's degree in translation or a related field.
Member of OTTIAQ or proof of a pending application.
Knowledge of translation support tools, particularly translation memories (Trados Studio).
Attention to detail and good proofreading skills.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills in both French and English.
