Job description

Why Oviva?

Our goal is a healthier future for everyone. That's why we help people with weight-related illnesses through the most accessible and effective therapy.

We offer digital programmes designed to support people with weight-related conditions, including obesity, prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, and hypertension.

While weight loss is the main goal for many of the people we support, our approach isn't just about the numbers on the scales – it's about improving your health, self-confidence, and quality of life.

Our proven strategy has helped us become award-winning and the largest digital health provider treating diet-related conditions in Europe. We operate within the healthcare systems to give people access to the medical care they need. We are rapidly expanding across Europe, including the UK, Switzerland, Germany and now Poland. You will be joining an organization that has treated 600.000 people to date and is continuing to scale up.

Role Overview

As a BI Manager you will have a clear understanding of the services we provide and how this is represented in the data. You will work on global initiatives as well as country-specific topics. This will allow you to present informative and accurate reporting and data analysis. It will also enable you to work closely with other teams within Oviva to help them to understand the data and how we can use this data to drive improvements. Ultimately we want to improve the health of our patients and data is key to achieving that and therefore so will you be.

As well as working with internal, country stakeholders you will work with the Data Science, Data engineering, Finance, Operations and Product teams to continuously improve our data processing and reporting.

You will be responsible for co-ordinating work with stakeholders within the UK team as well as managing and developing our analysts to reach greater heights.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Contribute and build complex suites of models as part of our enterprise data model in dbt and allow internal stakeholders to generate their own reports

  • Lead and design analysis of complex challenges in our operational and patient care to help drive best-in-class care and improve the efficiency of Oviva

  • Deliver various ad-hoc analytical reports or insights for executive to c-suite decision making

  • Lead transformation projects and OKRs to achieve step change improvements at Oviva

  • Design and drive adoption of processes for standardisation, best practice and self-service practices across the BI team

  • Help mentor others in the team in SQL, dbt and BI tool visualisation
