Job description

The company we are looking for specializes in products for retail stores, wholesale, and distribution partners.

Key Responsibilities:


Vendor Management:

  • Build and keep good relationships with key suppliers to ensure good deals and timely deliveries.

  • Solve problems with suppliers related to orders, prices, and delivery delays.

Purchase Orders & SKU Management:

  • Oversee and manage Purchase Orders (P.O.s) to make sure we have enough products when we need them, but not too many.

  • Watch inventory levels to prevent stock shortages and reduce extra stock.

New Items & Vendor Setup:

  • Coordinate the setup of new items and vendors in the system, ensuring all necessary information is accurate and up-to-date.

  • Work with internal teams to ensure smooth integration of new products and suppliers into the procurement process.

Price Changes:

  • Monitor and track price changes from suppliers, ensuring updates are reflected in purchase orders and inventory records.

  • Communicate any significant price changes to relevant teams and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.

Promotion /Deal Setup:

  • Set up promotional offers and special deals in the system, ensuring accurate pricing and inventory management.

  • Work with the sales and marketing teams to ensure promotions and deals are properly reflected in procurement and inventory processes.

Vendor Contract & Rebate Management:

  • Ensure we meet quarterly rebates and discount targets with suppliers by buying enough products.

Team Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Guide and train Junior Buyers to help them improve their skills and knowledge.

  • Collaborate closely with teams like Sales and Finance to ensure purchasing and inventory needs are aligned.
