Job Description

As our Operations Specialist focusing on order management, you’ll be the linchpin of our global supply chain, ensuring seamless processes from initial quote to final shipment. This role puts you at the heart of our business operations, where you’ll work closely with our sales team and international partners to deliver exceptional customer service and optimize our operational efficiency. You’ll be instrumental in streamlining our procurement processes, managing complex international logistics, and continually improving our operational workflows. Responsibilities
  • Orchestrate the entire order process lifecycle, from initial customer inquiry and quoting to final delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness at every stage
  • Act as the crucial link between our sales team and shipping department, coordinating complex logistics to guarantee precise order execution
  • Spearhead procurement tasks, including negotiating with international suppliers and optimizing inventory management to balance cost-efficiency with operational needs
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve customer satisfaction
  • Utilize advanced CRM and order management systems to track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate, timely quotes and resolve any order-related issues, ensuring a smooth customer experience
  • Manage and optimize global logistics processes, navigating international shipping regulations and customs procedures
  • Contribute to the development of operational best practices, potentially expanding your role into broader supply chain management responsibilities
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements in order management and procurement to keep our operations at the cutting edge
Requirements
  • Proven experience in B2B order management and procurement, preferably in an international context
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with the ability to see the big picture in complex operational scenarios
  • Advanced proficiency in CRM, ERP, and order management systems, with the ability to leverage technology for process improvement
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder management across diverse global teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, remote environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of implementing process improvements
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations, shipping procedures, and customs documentation
  • Experience with supply chain optimization and inventory management techniques
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies and processes in a rapidly evolving business environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus
