List Building Specialist
20 hours a week, 12PM - 4PM or 10AM - 2PM Indianapolis, IN time
Job Overview:
The List Building Specialist is responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining high-quality contact lists for marketing, sales, or operational purposes. This role involves researching, organizing, and verifying data to ensure its accuracy and relevance, ultimately supporting outreach and engagement strategies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and skilled in using tools to gather and manage information effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Research & Collection
Identify and compile lists of leads or contacts based on specific criteria and target audiences.
Conduct internet research to gather accurate and relevant contact details (e.g., names, email addresses, phone numbers, and company information).
Use tools like LinkedIn, data scraping software, and CRM systems to source data.
2. Data Organization & Maintenance
Organize data into structured formats (e.g., spreadsheets or CRM databases).
Ensure data integrity by cleaning, deduplicating, and updating outdated information.
Segment contact lists based on categories such as industry, demographics, or geography.
3. Verification & Quality Assurance
Verify the accuracy of contact information through research and outreach.
Cross-reference data from multiple sources to ensure its reliability.
4. Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with sales, marketing, or operations teams to understand list requirements.
Provide regular updates and reports on list-building progress and results.
Suggest strategies for improving data collection and management processes.
